Terms of Use

These Terms of Use (“Terms”) govern your use of the After Shoot macOS application (“the app”) available on the Mac App Store. By downloading or using the app, you agree to these Terms.

License

After Shoot is licensed, not sold, to you. Subject to these Terms and the Apple Licensed Application End User License Agreement (Standard EULA), you may use the app on Apple-branded products you own or control, as allowed by the Usage Rules in the App Store Terms.

What the app does

After Shoot helps you apply looks and adjustments to camera RAW photos and export JPG files on your Mac. Editing features may be available without a subscription. Creating and saving exported JPG files requires an active auto-renewable subscription purchased through Apple.

Subscriptions

• Subscriptions are billed through your Apple Account and renew automatically unless cancelled at least 24 hours before the end of the current period.
• Manage or cancel in System Settings (or App Store account settings) under Subscriptions.
• Prices shown in the app are provided by Apple’s StoreKit for your storefront and may vary by region.
• Refund requests are handled by Apple under Apple’s refund policies.

Your photos and files

You retain all rights to your photos. You are responsible for having the rights needed to process the files you open in the app. The app does not claim ownership of your photos. See the Privacy Policy for how processing stays on your Mac.

Acceptable use

You may not reverse engineer, redistribute, or misuse the app except as allowed by applicable law. You may not use the app for unlawful content or purposes.

Disclaimer

The app is provided “as is.” To the maximum extent permitted by law, we disclaim warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement. We do not guarantee that every camera RAW format or every file will import or export successfully on every Mac configuration.

Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, we are not liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or for loss of photos, data, or profits, arising from use of the app. Keep backups of important originals.

Apple’s role

You acknowledge that Apple is not responsible for the app or its content, maintenance, or support, except as required under the Standard EULA. Apple is a third-party beneficiary of these Terms as they relate to your license to use the licensed application.
